Skippered yacht charter · Worldwide

Every charter I arrange, I skipper myself.

You tell me the dates, your party, and where you would like to sail. I find the right boat, plan the route, and remain your single point of contact from the first conversation to the last day on the water.

The difference

You are not booking through an agency. You are booking with your captain.

Most charters pass through four hands before you leave the dock: a broker who sells it, an agency that books it, a base office that hands over the boat, and a skipper you meet on day one.

Here there is one. I source the boat, I write the proposal, and I am at the helm.

How it works

Three steps. One person.

01

Tell me the trip

Dates, party size, where you would like to sail, and roughly what you wish to spend. It takes five minutes, by form or WhatsApp.

02

You receive a complete proposal

The boat, the route, and a fully itemized budget: charter fee, skipper, marina fees, fuel, provisioning. There is no line called "miscellaneous."

03

I skipper it

The same person who planned your holiday runs it, from the day you step aboard to the day you step off.

You meet your captain long before you step aboard.

What I handle

Everything on one invoice, one WhatsApp thread.

The boat

Sourced from partner fleets wherever you are sailing. Cabins, layout, and budget are all weighed before a boat ever reaches your proposal.

The route

An itinerary built around your party: children, first-time sailors, experienced hands, or guests who simply want quiet anchorages.

Marinas & paperwork

Marina reservations, port paperwork, charter licenses.

Provisioning

The boat is stocked before you arrive: water, ice, linens, and food to your list.

The engine

I am a qualified marine mechanic (INB Concarneau). If something breaks mid-charter, I repair it myself.

Where

Wherever you like.

Mediterranean

Côte d'Azur, Corsica, the Greek islands, Croatia, Balearics, Italian coast and Sardinia.

Caribbean

St Barth, BVI, St Martin.

Asia

Thailand, Indonesia, the Andaman Sea.

Anywhere else

Simply ask.

If it can be chartered, I will find it. If it can be sailed, I will skipper it.

Commitments

Five commitments you can hold me to.

A person replies

The captain himself, the same person who will be at your helm.

An itemized quote

Every cost is set out, line by line.

One point of contact

No handovers, and no waiting while someone checks with the base.

No boat I would not sail myself

I am the one who takes it to sea.

Paper before payment

A written charter contract and the boat's insurance certificate accompany the proposal. No deposit is asked of you until you have read both.

Availability

Because I skipper every charter personally, I take on a small number of voyages each season.

If you have dates in mind, an early conversation is wise.

The form opens a WhatsApp message to me with your details. Nothing is stored, and nothing is sent anywhere else. The proposal is free and commits you to nothing. If you prefer email: contact@odysail.com
